as school kids, we have many dreams. these dreams can be very big, or they can be small.

once you have found a dream, what do you do with it? have you ever tried to make your dream real?

an australian author andrew matthews tells us that realizing our dreams is life‘s biggest challenge

you may think you‘re not very good at some school subjects, or that it is impossible for you to become a writer. these kinds of thoughts stop you from getting your dream.

in fact, everyone can realize their dream. the first thing you must do is remember what your dream is. don‘t let it leave your heart.do this step by step. a dream cannot be realized in one day. a big dream is, in fact, many small dreams. you must also never give up on your dream.

there will be difficulties on the road to realizing it. but the biggest difficulty comes from yourself. you need to decide what is most important. studying instead of watching tv will lead to better exam results, while saving five yuan instead of buying an ice cream means you can buy a new book.

good afternoon, boys and girls. my name is chen junlei. i’m from qianjia wan. i am 12 years old. i’m a boy, and i am a student. my favorite colour is green. my favorite fruit are apples and watermelons. my favorite foods are pizzas hotdogs and hamburgers.

my old friend is zhu jialiang. this is my new friend, zheng jie. look, this is mr. ji, my english teacher. and he is my cousin.

look, i have a family photo. this is my grandfather. he’s not very old. he is 64. he likes watching tv. this is my grandmother. she’s 60. she loves me very much. who’s this woman? she’s my mother. she is 36. she’s very beautiful. who’s that man? he’s my dad. he’s 36, too. he always go to school with me. who’s this boy? ha, ha, it’s me. he’s smart. to start with, you need to realize that your classmates are just in the same age of you. so be relaxed and nature. you are not too much smarter or outstanding than others and either are they! when you talk with them, remember to mention something popular, like music, or game, and don't forget to be humorous even kind of funny which can build a harmonious atmosphere to promote the relationship.

additionally, after you get close to each other enough, add some topics related to yours goals and plans for the future. i would like to say it is important to talk about that since young people always have beautiful dream and wish to company each other to accomplish them. in that way, you will become real friends with mutual understanding.

the last but also most important, i suggest you to be patient to hear other. they may complain something which you believe is unreasonable or they may abuse someone you actually like. when it goes that way, never argue with them. listen to their opinion and state your viewpoint later softly. and remember it will make people, even the very nice ones; feel more or less uncomfortable if you say that they are wrong directly.
