Methods Rats were divided into normal group, model group, positive medicine group, Qingqinye high dosage group, Qingqinye middle dosage group and Qingqinye low dosage group. Model was made with adenine and ethambutol by gavage. Colchicine 0.09 mg/(kg·d) were administered to the rats of positive medicine group by gavage. Qingqinye high dosage group were administered Qingqinye 5 g/(kg·d), middle dosage group were 2.5 g/(kg·d) and low dosage group were 1.25 g/(kg·d) by gavage. After 1 week, sodium urate were injected into joint cavity. 72 hours later, these rats were sacrificed. The level of IL-8 and TNF-α in the hydrarthrosis were determined by ELISA method. Ankle joints were fixed by 10% formalin, decalcified, paraffin embedded and HE Dyed. Pathological section with articular cavity and surrounding tissues were made to observe the changes of inflammatory cell infiltration.
