摘要： 在英语专业教学中，学生听力的培养至关重要，而学生文化背景知识的匮乏是制约其听力能力提高的主要因素之一，因此，在专业英语听力教学中加强英美文化的渗透就显得尤为重要。本文简要分析文化背景知识的不足对听力教学的影响，主要探索在听力教学中有效实现文化渗透的主要途径。
　　Abstract: During the teaching of English majors, the training of students' listening skill is very critical. However, the absence of students' related cultural knowledge is one of the major reasons that restrict the improvement of this skill. So encouraging the penetration of British and American cultural knowledge is becoming more important. Aiming at it, the negtive influence of lacking related knowledge on listening teaching is analyzed simply, and the effective ways to enhance the students' cultural knowledge are mainly explored in listening teaching in the thesis.
